Now Hiring: Senior Fire & Burglar Alarm Technician
$37.50 per hour | Four 10-hour workdays | Weekly pay
We’re seeking a patient, responsible, personable Senior Fire & Burglar Alarm Technician to lead field projects and help our installation team deliver quality work. If you have strong technical skills, enjoy working with people, and take pride in a job done right, we’d like to hear from you.
You’ll be supported by a three-person installation team that handles heavy lifting and cable pulling, allowing you to focus on technical work, coordination, and onsite supervision.
Responsibilities
- Program, troubleshoot, test, and service fire and burglar alarm systems.
- Provide onsite supervision and technical guidance to the installation team.
- Coordinate scheduling and daily project activities.
- Complete daily project reports and maintain accurate service records.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure installations meet project requirements, applicable codes, and manufacturer specifications.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, installers, and management.
Qualifications
- Current FASA/BASA, NICET, or equivalent certification required.
- Senior-level experience installing and servicing fire and burglar alarm systems.
- Strong programming, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- A patient, responsible, personable approach to leading others and working with customers.
- Dependability, attention to detail, and pride in quality workmanship.
Pay, Schedule & Benefits
- $37.50 per hour, paid weekly.
- Four 10-hour workdays per week.
- 90-day probationary period.
- Dental and vision benefits after 90 days.
- $100 per week in health insurance reimbursement after 90 days.
