THE ROLE
The Assistant Store Manager will partner closely with the Store Manager to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team, delivering an exceptional client experience while driving business growth. This individual will play a key role in balancing leadership, client development, and operational excellence in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment. The Assistant Store Manager will act as a brand ambassador within the Palm Beach market, building meaningful relationships with both local and international clientele.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Store Manager to drive business performance, executing strategies to achieve and exceed sales goals
- Lead by example on the sales floor, demonstrating the Thom Browne selling ceremony and maintaining a strong personal contribution to sales
- Execute clienteling strategies, including outreach, private appointments, and local networking to grow the business
- Act as a brand ambassador within the local community, identifying opportunities to elevate brand presence and client engagement
- Coach, motivate, and develop the team through in-the-moment feedback, structured training, and performance management
- Support hiring, onboarding, and retention of top talent, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Ensure operational excellence across all store functions, including inventory management, shipments, stock organization, and store standards
- Maintain visual merchandising and presentation in alignment with company directives and brand standards
- Partner with the Store Manager to manage store expenses and payroll, ensuring alignment with financial targets
- Utilize CVM tools and client data to drive targeted outreach, track performance, and identify opportunities for growth
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- 5 years of experience in a retail leadership role
- A hands-on leader who leads from the sales floor and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment
- Demonstrates the ability to balance selling, operations, and team leadership seamlessly
- Passion for fashion, styling, and delivering an elevated client experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; highly relationship-driven and influential
