Responsibilities

• Host engaging and energetic trivia games, guiding participants through game rules and ensuring smooth gameplay
• Interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service and guest support throughout the event
• Manage event logistics, including setting up game materials, handling cash transactions if applicable, and maintaining a lively atmosphere
• Resolve any conflicts or disputes among participants quickly and diplomatically to maintain a positive environment
• Coordinate with team members to ensure timely event start and smooth transitions between game rounds
• Use your public speaking skills to entertain audiences, explain game rules clearly, and encourage participation from all age groups
• Assist in creating an inclusive environment that welcomes guests of all backgrounds, including children and families

Qualifications

• Proven experience in events management or hosting live entertainment activities such as theater or resort events
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully
• Excellent customer service and guest services skills to ensure a positive experience for all attendees
• Experience with cash handling or food service is a plus, demonstrating responsibility and attention to detail
• Background in hospitality or working with children is desirable for engaging diverse audiences effectively
• Confident public speaker with clear communication skills capable of captivating an audience
• Prior lifeguard experience or safety training is beneficial but not required; safety awareness is valued in managing group activities
