What You'll Do
As a Seasonal Cashier, you're the first face our guests see—and the energy you bring sets the tone for their entire night. You'll process transactions accurately, keep lines moving, and use every guest interaction as an opportunity to enhance their experience and drive revenue for the attraction.
Transaction Processing

Operate the Square POS system to process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately and efficiently

Issue receipts and handle refunds or exchanges promptly and in accordance with company policy

Balance the cash register and generate end-of-day financial reports to ensure full accountability
Guest Experience & Customer Service

Welcome every guest with energy and enthusiasm, delivering friendly, immersive assistance from the moment they approach your station

Provide clear, confident information about the attraction, pricing, packages, and special offers

Address guest concerns and complaints professionally and promptly, turning challenges into positive moments
Upselling & Revenue Support

Actively promote merchandise, upgrades, add-ons, and bundle deals to maximize each guest's experience and support nightly revenue goals

Stay informed on current promotions and confidently communicate them to every guest interaction
Inventory & Station Management

Monitor merchandise stock levels and proactively report low inventory to management before it impacts sales

Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales area

Participate in regular inventory counts to ensure accurate tracking of all items
Queue & Flow Support

Support efficient guest flow by assisting with queue line management and maintaining a positive, high-energy atmosphere throughout your shift
What You Bring
-
Experience operating Square or a similar POS system—or a demonstrated ability to learn new point-of-sale technology quickly

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to stay professional and poised in high-volume situations

Natural ability to engage guests warmly and confidently promote products and upgrades

Organized, detail-oriented, and accountable when it comes to cash handling and end-of-day reporting

Ability to stand and move throughout the event area for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs for restocking tasks

Reliable and consistent attendance throughout the full season—evenings and weekends required

Must be 18 years of age or older
Compensation & Employment Details
Hourly Rate: $20 hr
Pursuant to Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the hourly pay rate for this position is listed above.
Benefits: This position is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits.
Sick Accrual: Employees will accrue paid sick leave as required under Colorado law.
Employment Type: Seasonal/Temporary
Expected Season Duration: Late September - Early November 2026
Work Schedule: Evenings, weekends, and holidays required during the operational season.
This is a seasonal/temporary position with an anticipated end date. Employment beyond the stated season is not guaranteed.
