Admissions/Sales Staff (Part-Time)

Otherworld Philadelphia is an immersive art and entertainment experience that blends large-scale interactive installations with cutting-edge technology and surreal storytelling. As part of Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group’s nationwide portfolio, Otherworld delivers a truly unique and evolving guest experience.
We are seeking a part-time Admissions & Sales team member to join our vibrant crew! As the first face our guests meet, you will set the tone for their experience and leave a lasting impression. In this role, you will rotate between three lively spaces – the Ticket Office, Gift Shop, and Café – each offering new ways to engage, assist, and inspire visitors. Your mission: provide seamless service, ignite curiosity, and guide guests toward the extraordinary.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome every guest with enthusiasm, warmth, and professionalism – setting the stage for their Otherworld adventure.
- Handle ticket sales and redemption, answer questions, direct visitor flow, and keep entry areas organized and inviting.
- Guide guests in the Gift Shop and Café by recommending merchandise and menu items, processing sales, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked space.
- Elevate the guest experience by providing assistance, resolving concerns, and ensuring every visitor feels welcome and valued throughout their visit.
- Take pride in upholding the beauty and cleanliness of both front-of-house and back-of-house spaces.
- Collaborate with teammates across departments, jump in where needed, and contribute to a supportive, creative, and fun work culture.
Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For
- Enthusiastic, approachable, and passionate about providing exceptional guest service.
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a warm, engaging presence.
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable – ready to take on challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old with evening and weekend availability, and have reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in customer or guest service is a plus.
- Comfortable performing general cleaning tasks and committed to maintaining company standards.
