What you’ll do
- Assist bartenders by stocking supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware to ensure smooth service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area by regularly cleaning surfaces, glassware, and equipment.
- Support food preparation efforts by assisting with food service and bussing tables as needed.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently to process orders and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service and address any inquiries or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with team members during busy shifts to maintain high energy levels and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Participate in banquet setups and catering events to enhance guest experiences.
Basic qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety standards.
- Background in nightclub settings or banquet service is advantageous.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
