Third Time’s the Charm is a bar and restaurant in Red Hook, N.Y.
We are seeking a porter/overnight cleaner to assist our operations.
As a porter, you will be responsible for:
- Cleaning the dining room, bathroom, backyard patio and other customer areas;
- Refilling towel stations, soaps, and other disposable products;
- Sweeping and mopping floors;
- Other cleaning tasks that may be assigned from time to time; and
- Ensuring our kitchen is locked and secured at the end of your shift.
We are looking for candidates with at least 1 year’s experience cleaning in a restaurant or commercial setting.
Candidates should demonstrate:
- An eye for detail;
- A get-the-job-done attitude;
- A calm and generous demeanor;
- The ability to work in a team, to deadline, and under pressure; and
- A knack for anticipating the needs of your manager and your team.
Applicants must also be able to:
- Stand for long periods of time; and
- Occasionally lift objects 50 lbs and under.
You must be able to work overnight on weekdays and weekends.
