We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented professional to join our team project based as a Revenue Cycle Consultant. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting system enhancements, staff training, and process optimization for behavioral health billing and ADAMH Board invoicing, helping us move forward with purpose and precision. Essential Job Duties:
- Provide training and retraining on behavioral health coding, billing, and ADAMH invoicing processes.
- Develop a comprehensive SOP and training program for billing and coding practices.
- Conduct a credentialing and provider enrollment review, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with leadership and IT teams on CareLogic rebuild efforts to ensure optimal configuration for billing and reporting. Deliver training for clinical counselors on documentation and coding best practices.
- Train identified staff (including the Grants Coordinator and Billing lead) to assume day-to-day management of revenue cycle operations.
- Create a transition plan for sustainability, including checklists, tools, and staff competency validation.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, billing, or reimbursement, with a strong focus on behavioral health or community mental health settings
- Proven expertise in Medicaid, Medicare, and ADAMH billing and reporting.
- Knowledge of CareLogic or similar EHR/billing systems strongly preferred.
- Experience in training, coaching, and SOP development for billing and coding teams
- Understanding of credentialing and payer enrollment processes
- Ability to translate complex revenue cycle processes into practical, sustainable workflows
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
