In partnership with the mission of Best Friends Animal Society to save animals and help cats and dogs to find their forever homes, we are the only fully vegan coffee shop in the area. Position Purpose: Provides customers with prompt service, crafts high-quality beverages, maintains a clean comfortable environment, and acts as a face of the Third Space Coffee brand. Models and upholds Third Space Coffee policies, practices, and standards. Ideal person enjoys having a sense of ownership in their workplace, and is wanting to learn, contribute, and grow with our thriving new cafe!
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delivers excellent customer service to all patrons by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with customers.
- Provides consistent quality beverages and food products for all customers by adhering to all Third Space Coffee recipes, standards, and training by the Third Space Coffee education team.
- Creates a positive and energetic atmosphere for every guest and employee.
- Manage the cash drawer and follow all cash handling policies and procedures.
- Engages with customers by understanding the core mission of Third Space Coffee is “Fueling the next moment of the rest of your life”. This should create a positive community environment.
- Assist with new hire training by helping coach and develop team members.
PEOPLE:
- Available to work flexible hours and pick up shifts if needed. Must be available Tuesday-Fridays either 8am-1pm or 12:30-5pm, and Saturdays/Sundays between 9am-5pm for consideration.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift.

PRODUCT/SERVICE::
- Ability to carry out and understand upcoming marketing promotions.
- Ensures each and every product delivered to the guest meets Third Space Coffee standards.
- Ensure all product levels are maintained.
- Has a clear understanding of the mission of Third Space Coffee and of the Pet Resource Center in general. Many first time visitors to the PRC will engage with a Third Space Coffee team member before they view the rest of the community space (including the cat cafe area), so we will be well-versed in the Best Friends Animal Society mission.
ENVIRONMENT:
- Ensures checklists, side jobs, and cleaning projects are completed.
- Keeps a friendly and clean work space.
- Asks questions when they are unsure.
- Ability to work as part of a team
DRIVING FOR RESULTS:
- Drive for result with ongoing promotions, achieving store goals, and upselling each customer.
- Read communication board daily and weekly company updates.
