Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Tarpon Springs, FL. The Salesperson will engage with residential and commercial property owners to understand their roofing needs, present service options, and provide clear, detailed estimates. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and following up on leads, conducting on-site assessments with the roofing team, preparing proposals, and guiding customers through the decision-making and insurance claim processes. The role involves maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, coordinating with operations to schedule work, and building long-term relationships through consistent communication and follow-up. The Salesperson will represent the company in the local community, attend networking events as needed, and support marketing efforts that promote the brand’s quality, integrity, and trust.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and close deals in residential and commercial markets.
- Customer service and communication skills, including active listening, clear spoken and written communication, and a professional presence.
- Basic knowledge of roofing systems, construction or home improvement, or a willingness to learn technical product details quickly.
- Ability to conduct on-site visits, assess customer needs, and explain options and pricing in a straightforward, transparent manner.
- Experience using CRM or sales tracking tools, and comfort with smartphones, email, and basic office software.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and readiness to work in outdoor conditions common to Florida’s climate.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented approach, with the ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work with minimal supervision.
- Prior experience in roofing, construction, or home services sales is preferred but not required; high school diploma or equivalent is recommended.
