Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a 7th Grade ELA Teacher at Hirschi Middle School, located in Wichita Falls, TX. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging English Language Arts lessons, managing classroom behavior, improving and evaluating academic proficiency. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with colleagues to improve instructional practices and participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching effectiveness. The ideal candidate will inspire students to achieve academic success and foster a love for learning and critical thinking. This role is supervised by the principal and assistant principal.
Classroom teachers receive great support. Lesson plans, demonstrations of learning, and
student assignments and activities are provided to the teachers by expert curriculum
developers. Teacher assistants makes copies and grade papers for the teachers. Teachers also
have minimal duties and only four days a month. The maximum salary for a teacher with three years of demonstrated achievement is $80,000.

Qualifications
- Experience teaching Middle School students and a strong understanding of the developmental needs of this age group.
- Excellent Teaching and Communication skills to effectively convey concepts and foster a positive learning environment.
- Knowledge of classroom management strategies and techniques to ensure an organized and productive educational setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education or a related field; teaching certification is not required.
- Commitment to promoting critical thinking and preparing students for future success.
- Prior experience in English Language Arts instruction is preferred but not mandatory.
