Process Engineering Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead the development and manufacturing of new products new to the facility, ensuring they are scoped, designed, and executed efficiently.
- Provide expert analysis and reporting on production processes, including cycle time, phase time, and yield.
- Resolve problems to ensure processes meet or exceed expectations.
- Collaborate with technical and operations personnel to optimize existing processes and introduce innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with plant management systems such as ISO, PSM, and Responsible Care.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Participate in control system design and implementation as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related field.
- Proficient in Heat and Mass Transfer Calculations.
- Work Experience: Range of 2 10 years in process engineering, with a strong focus on product development and process optimization.
- PSM Experience: Proven expertise in implementing and managing Process Safety Management (PSM) protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership, planning, and organization skills.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and drive results.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent relationshipbuilding across different functional groups.
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proven mentorship abilities with a focus on developing engineering talent.
- Indepth knowledge of safety procedures for handling hazardous chemicals.
