Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Tennis Instructor based in Ann Arbor, MI. The Tennis Instructor will be responsible for providing tennis instruction to players of all ages and skill levels. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and conducting tennis lessons, clinics, and training sessions, as well as assessing player skills and providing feedback for improvement. The instructor will also ensure a positive and engaging experience for customers, maintain tennis equipment, and contribute to the development of individualized training programs. There will also be opportunities to facilitate Pickleball clinics and tournaments as well.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Tennis Instruction and possess a strong background in Tennis
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
- Experience in Training players and assessing their progress
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Certifications from recognized tennis organizations (e.g., USPTA, PTR) are a plus
- Previous coaching experience is highly desirable
- First aid and CPR certification is beneficial
