Join our dynamic team as a Custodian and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. This energetic position offers the opportunity to contribute to the overall appearance and hygiene of our spaces, ensuring they meet high standards of cleanliness and safety. As a Custodian, you will be an essential part of our facilities team, bringing enthusiasm and attention to detail to every task. Your efforts will directly impact the comfort and safety of staff, visitors, and clients alike. There is a day shift and a night shift that need to be filled. Hours are 7:00am-4:30pm, and 4:30pm - 3:00am.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces.
• Handle janitorial tasks including trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces to promote hygiene.
• Carry out industrial cleaning duties when necessary, utilizing specialized equipment for deep cleaning projects.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues requiring professional attention.
• Support commercial cleaning projects for larger facilities or specialized environments like warehouses or industrial sites.
• Maintain cleanliness standards consistently while adhering to safety protocols and environmental guidelines.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred.
• Experience with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing is advantageous.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and procedures enhances your ability to perform effectively.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks helps ensure a well-kept environment.
• Previous porter experience or background in custodial services demonstrates your ability to handle diverse cleaning responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail combined with a proactive approach ensures high standards of cleanliness are maintained at all times. Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
