We are looking for an Account Manager to build relationships with new customers and maintain existing long term partnerships. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, providing solutions, and growing a book of business. Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Negotiate pricing on shipments and maximize profitability
- Develop new business with existing customers and or identify areas of improvement to meet goals
- Review accounts month/month performance, identify strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities.
- Communicate with operations to ensure load coverage, service, available capacity and margin.
- All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.
