We are looking for great Wound Care Nurses to join our healthcare team in Brooklyn, NY.
Position Title: RN Wound Care
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Shift: Days; M-F; 8am to 4pm
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract (Extension Possible)
Compensation Details:
Gross Hourly Pay Rate: $98 to $102 per hour
Job Summary:
Conducts health assessment interview focused on wound, ostomy, and continence related care. Performs focused physical assessment, develops plan of care based on the diagnosis and individual client needs. Recommends medications and treatments as appropriate.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Two (2) years of Wound Care Nurse experience.
- Wound and Colostomy experience.
Required Education:
- Associate’s degree (ASN, ADN) from an accredited Nursing Program.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- New York State RN License.
- AHA BLS.
- Current certification in one of the following:
- Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) issued by the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB). (OR)
- Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON) issued by the WOCNCB. (OR)
- Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) issued by the WOCNCB. (OR)
- Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) issued by the American Board of Wound Management (ABWM). (OR)
- Wound Care Certified Certification (WCC) issued by the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO).
Salary : $98 - $102
