Job Description
- Hands-on experience with Kardex Power Pick System (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of:
- Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS)
- Warehouse/logistics automation
- Experience in system integration (ERP/WMS)
Understanding of:
- Ability to troubleshoot both functional and technical issues
- Experience working in R&D / lab environment / pharmaceutical / manufacturing domains
- Exposure to Kardex Shuttle, Vertical Lift Modules (VLM)
- Familiarity with automation tools, PLC basics, or industrial IT systems
- Prior experience in onsite support roles (USA or global clients)
- Manage and support Kardex Power Pick System (PPS) operations in R&D lab environment.
- Perform system configuration, installation, and upgrades for Kardex solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
- Pick/put workflows
- Inventory inaccuracies
- System integration failures
- Collaborate with IT and business teams for integration with ERP/WMS systems.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and minimal downtime.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for system failures and implement preventive measures.
- Support data mapping, barcode systems, and automation workflows
- Maintain documentation including SOPs, system architecture, and user guides
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards in lab environments
