Position Overview
Seeking a polished and service-oriented Beach Recreational Manager to oversee and elevate the guest experience while at the beach. The Beach Recreational Manager is responsible for designing and managing high-quality recreational programming, maintaining premium service standards, and ensuring a safe, well-organized, and welcoming beach environment for all guests.
Role Description
The role is a full-time, on-site position located in Miami Beach, FL. This role involves managing daily operations of beach-related recreational activities, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities include coordinating staff schedules, organizing events and activities, monitoring equipment, addressing guest inquiries, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines. The manager will also work to create engaging beach experiences aligned with Think Hospitality’s mission to deliver exceptional, community-centered service and unique experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate beachfront activities
- Develop signature recreational offerings that align with the company’s brand standards and guest expectations
- Provide personalized guest engagement and respond promptly and professionally to requests
- Oversee beach amenities and recreational equipment, ensuring proper presentation, maintenance, and organization
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and promote responsible environmental practices
- Collaborate with Concierge, Guest Relations, and Events teams to coordinate customized experiences and private beachfront functions
- Monitor guest feedback and participation levels to continuously improve programming
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, appearance, and service delivery
Qualifications
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality, resort recreation, or event coordination preferred
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience in scheduling and supervising staff
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities for event planning and equipment management
- Knowledge of safety protocols and risk management in recreational or hospitality settings
- CPR and First Aid certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to enhance the guest experience
- Ability to lead activities for guests of various age groups with professionalism and confidence
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work outdoors in a coastal environment and adapt to changing conditions
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
