Housekeeping/Houseman Hotel

The Housekeeping/Houseman supports hotel cleanliness and guest comfort by maintaining guest rooms, public areas, housekeeping and laundry operations, and other hotel areas as assigned. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping Supervisor, this role responds to routine guest requests and provides coverage across rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms according to hotel housekeeping procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas and other hotel areas as assigned.
• Handle, sort, and transport linens.
• Restock housekeeping supplies and support inventory control.
• Respond to routine guest requests.
• Support laundry operations.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and readiness.
• Remove waste and handle lost-and-found items according to hotel procedures.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Complete morning room turnovers, afternoon public-area upkeep, and evening turndown support.
• Provide rotating shift coverage.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 years of experience in hotel housekeeping.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitization practices.
• Understanding of hotel housekeeping procedures and laundry operations.
• Experience with inventory control and workplace safety.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Customer service skills.
