Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Irvine, CA, for a Data Governance Consultant. The consultant will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of data governance frameworks and processes to ensure data quality, compliance, and security. Duties include assessing data management processes, collaborating with stakeholders to establish data standards, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions. The consultant will also provide recommendations and training to teams for adopting best practices in data governance.
Qualifications
- Experience working on Data Governance frameworks, Data Management strategies, and data compliance policies
- Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools to assess data quality and support improved decision-making
- Knowledge of data-related regulatory requirements and emerging trends in the fields of AI and business intelligence
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide strategic and actionable recommendations
- Excellent project management and collaboration abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
- Familiarity with data visualization tools or platforms is advantageous
- Experience in consulting or working with enterprise-level clients preferred
