Responsible for registering all patients appropriately, obtaining blood and other specimens for the purpose of laboratory analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Graduate of a Phlebotomy training program required or in lieu of education must have a minimum of 2 years phlebotomy experience required.
Other Special Training/Skills:
- Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required
- Must possess good interpersonal skills so that communication with patients puts them at ease.
