What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer position at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center?
Responsible for performing ultrasonic imaging and related procedures that demonstrates anatomy for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:
1. Graduate of a school of Radiology Technology and/or sonography program.
Previous Experience:
1. Previous experience preferred.
Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.:
1. Certification by ARRT in Radiology preferred.
2. Certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers in OB/GYN, abdomen, vascular preferred.
3. Current and valid Louisiana credentials by the Louisiana Board of Radiology preferred.
