Water Well Service Technician
THI Water Well has been serving the North Texas area since 1981. Our specialty is drilling and servicing large and deep diameter water wells for municipalities/cities, rig supply/oil companies, corporations, farms/ranches, irrigation, and builders. We work with, and are trusted by, a number of engineering firms. We are currently seeking self-motivated and mechanically inclined individuals to fill our Water Well Service Technician position.
The Water Well Service Technician position is an entry level position whose main job function is to assist in pulling the well and make necessary repairs. The Service Technician position includes the following job duties:
- Performing routine maintenance on machines and equipment
- Operate Heavy Equipment as needed
- Perform daily safety checks
- Service and install submersible pumps
- Responsible for pump repair, installation and troubleshooting
- Assembling parts, supplies and material
- Ensuring rig is properly equipped and maintained
- Maintaining accurate records of time and material
- Ensuring the well site is clean and orderly
- Following all safety guidelines and reporting issues as needed
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
- Must be willing to travel to job sites throughout the state of Texas, including daily reasonable travel radius
- Must be willing to work longer shifts and overtime as needed
