Job Summary

Strobes-R-Us provides vehicle up-fits for a broad array of customers ranging from tow vehicles to Police, Fire and EMS; construction and road-side assistance vehicles. Strobes-R-Us is committed to Installing emergency equipment at its highest level so the professionals who utilize our services will arrive on scene safely and have a higher level of visibility while on our roadways.

 

We are in need of one, or possibly more, qualified Emergency Vehicle Technicians. Strong 12v electrical knowledge, mechanical aptitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and grow are a must. EVT or ASE Certifications, light fabrication skills, and knowledge of vehicle alarms are a huge plus.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work under Lead installer(s) and Bay Manager(s) in order to assist with the up-fit of emergency vehicles.
  • Assist with vehicle breakdown to include, removing bumper skirt, fender, seats, interior trim, headlights, taillights, fog, lights.
  • Assist with installation of basic components such as push bumper, vehicle partition cage, rear ABS seat, lock box, window bars, etc.
  • Assist with re-assembly of vehicle components.
  • Mounting basic light heads onto the body of a vehicle.
  • Install interior light heads in front windshield and rear window of vehicles.
  • Mount Lightbar to the roof of a vehicle.
  • Ability to use a crimper and stripper and butt splice connectors to make proper wiring connections.
  • Understanding of 12 volts and ability to set patterns on remote light heads.
