Job Summary
Thermoseal is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduler to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules, coordinating with multiple departments, and ensuring customer orders are completed on time. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can effectively balance changing priorities while keeping production running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules.
- Coordinate production priorities based on customer orders, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity.
- Work closely with Production, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Shipping to ensure timely order completion.
- Monitor schedule adherence and make adjustments as needed to meet customer deadlines.
- Communicate schedule changes and production priorities to department leaders.
- Review inventory availability and coordinate with Purchasing to resolve material shortages.
- Track production progress and identify potential delays or bottlenecks.
- Maintain accurate scheduling information within the ERP/MRP system.
- Generate scheduling and production reports for management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that increase scheduling accuracy and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2 years of scheduling, production planning, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing production demands.

- Knowledge of production planning and inventory control.
- Manufacturing environment with multiple production lines.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience interpreting production reports and performance metrics.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
