Production Associate
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Compensation: 20.27
Shift: 1st Shift - Overtime as needed
Position Summary
While reporting to the Production Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for packing products in a quick, safe, and efficient manner. Excellent attendance is crucial to the team's success. This role requires a proven ability to perform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, collaborate across departments, identify defects on the packing line, and maintain a strong commitment to quality and safety standards. You will take pride in your hands-on abilities, analytical thinking, organizational skills, and attention to detail while supporting ThermoSafe’s operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Safety is the #1 priority at all times
- Pack products accurately and efficiently to meet production requirements.
- Collaborate closely with production teams and other departments.
- Maintain a high regard for 5S and workplace organization standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues and respond effectively to changing situations.
- Monitor and report on the quality of manufactured products.
- Consistently move product and place it in designated pack-out locations throughout the shift.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area at all times.
- Perform all duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
- Support ThermoSafe’s quality and safety policies and procedures.
- Assist other departments as needed to meet operational demands.
- Work overtime as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Strong sense of urgency with a "get it done" attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of manufactured products and quality requirements.
- Reliable, committed, self-motivated, and quality focused.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
- Ability to perform repetitive duties, including climbing stairs and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Preferred
- Previous forklift certification and experience safely operating a forklift.
- Experience with 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience supporting quality and safety programs in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to identify defects and maintain high quality standards.
Salary : $20
