Job Summary:
The successful candidate will assist in the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial control systems, and various instrumentation. This role requires a basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, and programming principles, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced field environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior technicians with on-site installation, maintenance, and repair equipment.
- Assist in building control panels under the supervision of the Panel Shop Supervisor.
- Correct control drawings that have been red lined.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshoot technical issues under supervision.
- Help perform routine preventative maintenance on customer equipment.
- Provide clear and concise daily reports on job progress and service activities.
- Document processes, maintain accurate records, and produce detailed service reports.
- Work with a variety of power tools and diagnostic equipment (multi-meter) to complete tasks.
- Safely operate and navigate a company vehicle to and from job sites.
- Develop positive and professional relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Aptitude for using computers and software applications.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites within the designated service area.
- Technical aptitudes, e.g., basic electrical or mechanical knowledge.
Required:
Able to pass a background check.
Able to pass a drug screen for federal contractor requirements.
Hold a valid driver's license with clean driving record.
