Role Description
The Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Virginia Beach, VA. Responsibilities include troubleshooting HVAC systems, conducting preventive maintenance, performing repairs, and providing excellent customer service. The technician will ensure systems function efficiently and effectively while maintaining safety standards and adhering to industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience with Troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC issues accurately and efficiently.
- Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair tasks, including performing repairs and replacements as needed.
- Knowledge and experience with Preventive Maintenance procedures to ensure systems operate smoothly and prevent breakdowns.
- Commitment to Customer Satisfaction by delivering professional and timely service.
- Possession of relevant certifications, such as EPA certification, is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Prior experience in HVAC service is preferred but not mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in installation and/or repair.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Good driving record.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- DDC knowledge and experience is a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to pass drug screen for Federal contractor requirements.
