What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving/ Quality Control position at Thermo Tech?
Thermo Tech Powder Coating is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter able to work in a fast-paced environment with a wide variety parts and jobs. Must be able to work well with others, be dependable / reliable and take direction as needed.
The shipping receiving / quality control position consists of inspecting powder coated jobs as they come out of the oven, measuring each job, palletizing those jobs after inspection, as well as loading and unloading customers using the forklift.
Duties:
- Receive, Inspect, and process incoming shipments
- Prepare outbound shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately with proper packing materials per customer reqiurements
- Operate forklifts, to load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
- Manage stock levels through inventory
- Maintain organized storage areas by stocking systematically for easy retrieval and distribution
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must have certification or be able to obtain certification on forklift
- Knowledge on part inspection a plus but not required
- Dependable
Experience:
- 1 year warehouse experience preferred
- 1 year shipping and receiving experience preferred
- Packing experience desired
