Works with technical staff and seeks guidance from experienced project leads, the company directors, and principals. Provides guidance and training to junior project managers.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor of Science; Engineering or other pertinent curriculum combined with relevant technical experience.
- Typically, 10 years total experience with at least 5 years as a project manager.
- Position requires project management construction of a data center and will work onsite in Port Washington, WI.
- Proven Track Record: 2 year as previous level
- Demonstrate strong field experience with associated trades and hands-on understanding of electrical, mechanical, and controls systems.
- Understand control system design and system interfaces, including safety and process impacts.
- Enforce safety, quality, and QMS requirements across field activities and subcontractors.
- Manage subcontractor scope, execution, and quality standards.
- Communicate proactively and professionally with customers, trade partners, and internal teams.
- Support installation, commissioning, and documentation review as needed.
- Accurately plan, forecast, and execute project tasks, including scope development and change management.
- Promote a collaborative, accountable team environment.
- Provide steady, effective leadership during high-pressure or uncertain conditions.
- Make sound decisions, identify and mitigate risks, and adjust scope or pricing as required.
- Operate with accountability, professionalism, and a strong commitment to project and team success.
- Direct and oversee multiple managers, including electrical installation, commissioning, project administration, and safety.
- Majority of work will be onsite in Port Washington, WI, through closeout of the project. Some various times of "on call" demand may arise.
- Future travel or project relocation may be required based on customer and program needs.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the country where the position is located is required.
- Maintain a valid drivers license.
