We sell and service Thermo King transport refrigeration, Versalift aerial buckets, TICO terminal tractors, Club Car commercial vehicles, Knapheide truck bodies, trailer repair, and consumer golf carts. In this role, you’ll work in a supportive environment with opportunities to advance from Apprentice to Master Technician or pursue specialty roles.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair transport temperature control equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and installations to Thermo King standards
- Install, service, and repair Auxiliary Power Units (APUs)
- Stay current on product developments, service bulletins, and certifications
- Maintain documentation to meet dealership and manufacturer requirements
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Requirements
- Mechanical, refrigeration, diesel, or electrical experience preferred (we will train)
- Experience in diesel engines, heavy equipment, or light/heavy vehicle mechanics a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical training a plus
- Basic computer skills
- EPA 608 Type II/609 certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license; able to obtain DOT medical card if required
- Able to meet insurability standards for company vehicles
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Able to lift 60 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varying conditions
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Overtime as required
- Occasional travel for training or customer needs
