Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift, Various outside weather conditions, Will work with hazardous/toxic materials, Working at heights

Rotating schedule from 7pm – 7am (10% differential for Night Shift):
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, totaling 48 hours
Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday, totaling 36 hours

A day in the Life:
- Follow quality standards in accordance with company policy and cGMP and FDA requirements. Understanding of cGxP requirements.
- Troubleshoot & support manufacturing equipment and facility equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Perform alternating or rotating shift work as well as requirement to work during maintenance shutdowns.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment to minimize “line-interruption” events and perform scheduled maintenance and service repairs.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent minimally required.
- An Associate degree in a technical field like electrical like automation or mechatronics is prefered.
Required:
- 3 years hands-on proven experience as a Maintenance Technician with a focus in electrical, automation, or mechatronics experience.
- Other equivalent electrical experience may be considered, but only with a proven track record of self-development and continuous learning. 4 years related automated equipment experience.
- Experience with control and power wiring. Experience with low and high voltage power. (AC and DC, 24v to 480v). Motors, VF Drives and Servo Controlled.
- Ability to analyze problematic equipment and electromechanical component failures without schematics.
- Proficiency in the use of highly technical diagnostic and test equipment, reading blueprints, schematics, manuals and technician papers.
- Experience in a cGMP environment.
- Minimum knowledge and ability to learn PLC formats with heavy emphasis on Allen-Bradley PLC/HMI hardware and software: SLC, PLC, ControlLogix, and PanelView.
- Strong understanding of electrical installation, AC/DC motor drives, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems.
- Experience with Production Systems, HVAC/HEPA Systems, Clean Utility Systems, Utility Systems like Boilers, Chillers and Compressed Air, Electrical Distribution Systems.
- Ability to work well with minimal direction and within Teams.
- Proven understanding electrical systems and industrial automation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interpersonal interactions and strong attention to detail.
- Perform mechanic tasks, including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and repair of production machines and ancillary support equipment.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Reading and comprehension of blueprints, manuals and training materials.
