Job Overview:
Seeking a motivated Manufacturing Lab Technician to support production operations in a cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
This role involves operating production equipment, handling chemical materials safely, following batch records and SOPs, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the manufacturing process.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow and promote proper safety procedures and PPE protocols at all times.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of production areas and equipment during each shift.
Operate as a primary or secondary operator in the cGMP production of APIs and chemical intermediates.
Utilize and follow written procedures, batch records, SOPs, and operational protocols.
Set up, calibrate, operate, and clean manufacturing and packaging equipment.
Portion and package materials safely according to production procedures.
Assemble containers and components for portioning and packaging processes.
Monitor and communicate production status during shift transitions.
Record and maintain accurate production documentation, measurements, and calculations.
Perform inventory verification, lot number tracking, and documentation for traceability.
Troubleshoot and operate automated labeling and packaging equipment.
Maintain and clean workstations, production equipment, and storage areas.
Support process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency efforts.
Collaborate with team members in a multi-shift, team-based manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or manufacturing production environments.
Experience working in cGMP-regulated manufacturing environments.
Previous experience weighing chemicals or handling production batch records.
Safety Requirements & Skills:
Must be comfortable working with highly potent or hazardous materials.
Required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including Respiratory protection, Lab coats and uniforms.
Steel-toe safety shoes.
Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Email, SAP or similar systems).
