Responsibilities:
Many duties are performed while sitting at a desk or conference room, (e.g., operating a computer, using a telephone, or writing and interpreting data and/or reports, attending meetings). In addition, walking or standing within the manufacturing area is required for conducting inspections, drills, participating in agency inspections, conducting EHS assessments, assisting and may serve as an incident commander in ERT activities. Minimal travel may be required. This position will provide support for afternoon, evening and weekend shift coverage on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:
- Design and execute inclusive environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs that align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to EHS standards and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver EHS training programs and initiatives
- Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near misses, and take necessary steps to rectify the situation.
- Maintain accurate EHS records and documentation to meet legal and regulatory requirements effectively.
- Analyze EHS metrics to identify trends and implement proactive measures
- Stay updated with the latest EHS regulations and industry guidelines to continually enhance EHS programs.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and management on EHS-related matters
- Participate in Safety committees and meetings to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience in EHS management or a related role
- In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations and standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve root causes and develop effective solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a variety of individuals
- Demonstrated capability in implementing EHS programs and initiatives in a fast-paced work environment
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM are preferred
