As the Director of Continuous Improvement ,you will have a crucial role in crafting and executing our top-notch Practical Process Improvement (PPI), Business System.
Responsibilities
- Take charge of implementing the Continuous Improvement Business System in SUD
- Collaborate with the Division’s Leadership Team to determine ongoing priorities and manage timelines for key achievements
- Ensure efficient business processes and identify central initiatives
- Set up and enhance the Continuous Improvement System throughout the organization
- Develop long-term plans using strategy deployment tools
- Facilitate kaizen events to support teams in reaching their business goals and objectives
- Recruit, manage, and develop direct and indirect reports
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, operations or business, with evidence of operational, leadership, or professional experience. (MBA a plus)
- 10 years of operations/engineering experience
- Proven track record in continuous improvement and process optimization in a large, matrixed corporation
- Outstanding leadership and collaboration skills
- Strong ability to manage timelines and prioritize initiatives effectively
- Experience in strategy deployment and facilitating kaizen events
- Ability to mentor and drive cultural transformation within the organization
- Executive-level experience in a similar role, preferably within a scientific or technical environment
