Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical services across commercial and industrial properties in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency. Your expertise will help create comfortable, safe environments for our clients while supporting property maintenance operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for technicians passionate about field service work and eager to apply their mechanical knowledge in diverse settings.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems including air conditioning units, chillers, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure reliable operation.
- Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems and property maintenance tasks as needed.
- Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair or replace faulty components.
- Operate a vehicle safely for transporting parts, tools, or equipment between job sites.
- Document all service activities thoroughly in work orders and reports while adhering to safety standards and protocols.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidate would have at least 5 years' experience, or a combination of technical college and field-based experience.
- Gas License.
- 608 Universal Refrigeration license.
- Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC/R systems with a strong mechanical background.
- Knowledge of construction practices related to HVAC installation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and perform equipment repair or brazing tasks.
- Mechanical knowledge of boilers, appliances, air conditioning units, and other HVAC equipment.
- Dependable and experience working independently in field service environments.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
