Maintenance Technician: General Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set that includes experience in maintenance, manufacturing, and facilities upkeep. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and supporting various projects as needed. The Laborer will work collaboratively with other team members to maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks including but not limited to building, lawn, and equipment maintenance, repairs, and installations.
• Move, secure, install, build, load, or unload materials as required by the project.
• Effectively operate heavy and light equipment based on jobsite requirements and assignments.
• Safely operate a variety of tools including pressure washers, drills, saws, grinders, and lawn equipment.
• Conduct facilities maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and functional environment.
• Keep warehouse organized. Remove obsolete materials to maintain a safe working environment.
• Engage in painting projects, ensuring quality finishes.
• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

Work Environment:

• Indoor and outdoor job sites in varying weather conditions.
• May be exposed to loud noises, dust, and heavy equipment.
• Occasional overtime and weekend work may be available.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

• Proficiency in mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of tools and construction practices.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Previous construction or HVAC experience is a plus, but not required
