What You’ll Do
As an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician, you’ll use your expertise to deliver top-tier service and solutions to our customers:
- Perform thorough HVAC system inspections
- Clearly communicate findings and recommendations using written option sheets
- Diagnose and complete HVAC repairs and replacements in compliance with all applicable codes
- Accurately complete service documentation and handle payment processing
- Order required parts and ensure you’re fully prepared for each service call
- Submit purchase orders through dispatch or designated purchasing staff
- Maintain and account for assigned tools, materials, and equipment
- Represent Thermo Direct with professionalism and pride at every customer home
Residential HVAC Service Tech Requirements
- 3 years of verifiable HVAC industry experience
- Strong knowledge of residential heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems
- Ability to troubleshoot refrigerant, electrical, airflow, and duct system issues
- High School diploma or GED required
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Comfortable using a tablet or smartphone for dispatching, GPS, and documentation
- Valid driver’s license and approved driving record per company insurance requirements
