IT Technician
Location: Hayward, CA

Shift: Day (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Full Time, Monday-Friday
Position Summary
The IT Technician is responsible for providing IT support to staff, troubleshooting hardware & software, managing IT resources & devices, and managing & maintaining network devices. Technicians need to be detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills, work semi-autonomously and think critically to solve challenging problems.
Key Responsibilities
Required:
· Provide general IT support to employees and management.
· Respond to work order tickets and provide requested support.
· Configure, deploy, test, troubleshoot, update, and support IT equipment.
· Manage equipment such as printers, computers, cellular devices, routers, switches, etc.
· Manage IT related supplies.
Preferred:
· If proficient in software development, assist in updating and maintaining internal webpages and applications.
Qualifications
Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Alternatively, associate’s degree in a related field with certification (e.g. MCP, CCNA, etc.) also qualifies.
· Minimum of 2 years of IT work experience.
· Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills. Desire for learning and thinking critically.
· Ability to manage, troubleshoot, deploy Microsoft Windows systems and domains.
· Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and the Office suite of applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, & PowerPoint).
· Knowledge of networking fundamentals and the ability to set up and configure networking equipment (e.g. routers, switches, & APs).
· Familiarity with virtualization (e.g. hypervisor, virtual machines, SDN).
Preferred:
· Knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop software.
· Knowledge of computer programming languages (JavaScript, PHP, Python, SQL, VB preferred) and software development.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
