Residential HVAC Installer / Technician Thermalize HVAC
– Spencer, OH Pay: $20–$28 per hour, based on experience
Thermalize HVAC is a growing residential HVAC company looking to add a dependable person to our team. We are looking for someone with some HVAC experience who wants to continue learning and develop into a well-rounded residential HVAC technician.
This position is a great fit for someone with 1–3 years of residential HVAC experience, but we are also willing to consider an entry-level helper with strong mechanical ability and the right attitude.
You will work directly with the owner and receive hands-on training in residential HVAC installation, service, and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with residential furnace and air conditioning installations
- Learn and perform HVAC installations as your skills develop
- Install and modify residential ductwork
- Assist with brazing, refrigerant piping, evacuation, and system startup
- Perform residential maintenance and clean-and-checks
- Assist with troubleshooting and service calls - Install thermostats and HVAC accessories
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Respect customers' homes and property
- Complete job documentation using field service software - Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle
Qualifications:
- Some residential HVAC experience preferred
- EPA 608 certification preferred but not required for the right candidate
- Basic understanding of HVAC equipment and operation
- Good mechanical ability
- Valid driver's license
- Able to lift and handle HVAC equipment and materials
- Reliable and dependable
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Takes pride in quality workmanship
- Professional and respectful with customers
You do not need to know everything coming in. We are willing to train the right person.
