What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Manager position at Thermal Tech, Inc.?
The Field Service Manager will be responsible for daily service operations, customer engagement, technical support, and the overall management of service personnel. The Field Service Manager will spend 25%-30% of their time out in the field with the team training and assisting on jobs. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to the the growth of our employees, creating and maintaining a healthy work culture, and bringing excellent support to our team and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead / manage personnel by coaching, counseling, and rewarding / discipling employees.
- Provide quality service for all assigned tasks while upholding company core values.
- Ensure timely / consistent delivery of quality performance by personnel.
- Work closely with customers to understand their problems and be ready to suggest solutions.
- Provide reports detailing daily activities.
- Maintain equipment by providing maintenance agreements.
- Assist to train and develop personnel.
- Assist in recruiting and staffing of the department.

Physical Requirements
Employee should be physically fit and must demonstrate by being able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time, carry a 50lb pail 50 feet with no difficulties, climb up and down ladders, bend, kneel, crouch for extended periods of time. Employee must be ok working in extremely hot boiler rooms and be comfortable in confined spaces.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
Experience
Minimum of ten (10) years of field experience
Minimum of five (5) years management experience
