Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an AutoCAD Designer based in Charlotte, NC. The AutoCAD Designer will be responsible for creating detailed architectural and construction drawings, developing designs for projects, and ensuring technical accuracy in drafting. The role requires collaboration with engineering teams, ensuring all layouts meet project specifications, and contributing to space planning by optimizing design layouts.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in creating architectural drawings, construction drawings, and other design documentation
- Skills in space planning and the ability to develop optimized design layouts
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to interpret technical specifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software is essential
- Experience in the manufacturing or engineering industry is advantageous
- Associate’s degree or higher in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field is preferred
