What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry-Level Machinist position at Thermach?
Thermach, LLC is a manufacturer of thermal spray equipment. We are located in Appleton, Wisconsin, and are experiencing rapid growth due to our success in the industry. Our company grew its name through a strong customer focus and high-quality systems that set us apart from our competitors.
Job Duties
- Set up and run Mazak Turning Center and/or Mazak Vertical Mills.
- Operate manual mills and lathes for secondary operations
- Monitor and inspect finish quality
- Maintain and clean machines
- Follow and enforce safe practices
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Currently working towards or completion of a two-year Machine Tool Operator or equivalent experience
- Proficient with measuring tools
- Read and interpret drawings/blueprints
- Operate Manual Mills and Lathes
- Lift up to 25 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Mazak Machine Operator
- Conversational programming (CNC) experience - willing to train
