FIRST SHIFT Machine Operator

Therm, Incorporated a leader in providing innovative machining solutions to a global market, is currently seeking qualified individuals for machine operation.

FIRST SHIFT ONLY (7:00am -3:30pm)

• Overtime as needed or as business necessitates.
• Starting wage dependent upon experience.

PRIMARY JOB DESCRIPTION, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Experience appreciated but not required.
• Various openings exist in our Mill, Lathe, Grind, Polish, CNC, EDM and Weld manufacturing cell areas for qualified machine operators.
• Set up, operation and function of machinery to perform a variety of machine operations on various metal alloy parts according to prescribed specifications in processes, layout, blueprint and/or work instructions.
• Ability to read, understand and work to process sheets and blueprints.
• Must be able to work to tight tolerances and possess a strong mathematical aptitude.
• Good verbal and written skills a must.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• At all times, work to Therm, Incorporated Code of Ethics, Safety Standards and Quality Policies while performing operational functions.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Must be able to push, pull and/or lift up to and including 70 pounds.
• Must pass a physical examination including drug testing.
• Background checks also performed.
