This position is specifically designed to absorb crisis response demands so that dorm staff can remain present with and focused on guiding their group through the structured program day. Floating Support & Coverage

    • Float across the campus throughout each shift, monitoring milieu climate and proactively identifying escalation risk before crises occur

    • Assist with safe transport of clients within campus as needed during high-acuity situations

      Documentation & Communication

      Collaboration & Support

      • Work closely with the Program Director, clinical team, and nursing/med suite staff to ensure coordinated response to complex client presentations
      • Contribute to a culture of psychological safety for both clients and staff by modeling regulated, professional crisis response
      • Participate in ongoing CPI and de-escalation training and refreshers

        QUALIFICATIONS

        Required

        • High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, or related field preferred

        Preferred

        • Experience in a residential treatment center or similar congregate care setting
        • Familiarity with DBT, trauma-informed care, or behavioral management frameworks

        WORKING CONDITIONS

This is a physically active, high-responsibility role.
