We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment.
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members.
- Administer medication reminders as prescribed and ensure proper medication management.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Respond promptly to emergencies or urgent situations with appropriate action, including first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Follow care plans and document care provided accurately to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- Prior experience in caregiving or related roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards individuals of all backgrounds.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks with care and professionalism.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if needed.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documenting care activities.
