Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home, community, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient monitoring and observe for any changes in health or behavior
- Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA guidelines
- Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary requirements and assist with meal consumption when needed
- Support residents with dementia, Alzheimer's, autism, or other developmental disabilities through specialized care techniques such as memory care and behavioral management strategies
- Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely to assist with transfers and mobility
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties
- Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams and family members
- Follow all safety protocols including CPR, first aid, and other emergency procedures
Requirements
- Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing home, or hospice care preferred
- Knowledge of patient care techniques including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer's care
- Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly desirable
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and assist with resident transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts
- Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and reporting changes in condition
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure resident confidentiality and privacy standards are maintained
