Role Description
This is a full-timr on-site role for an Occupational Therapist, based in Monterey, CA. The Occupational Therapist will provide evidence-based assessments, develop personalized therapy plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions to support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals. The role includes working closely with pediatric populations, documenting progress, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and educating families on strategies to foster growth and recovery. School based & adult hand therapy opportunties are also a available based on candidate’s desire & experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation techniques, with the ability to customize therapy plans to individual needs
- In-depth knowledge of Pediatrics as they relate to occupational therapy practices
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Active state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in California
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
