What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Short Term position at TherapyTravelers?
We're looking for an exceptional Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a part-time position in Bolingbrook, IL who can start immediately and work through November 1st. This therapist will work 15 hours per week on-site. The caseload fluctuates based on need; initially, 5 students / PreK - 4th; the district serves students from PreK - 8th, and there may be an opportunity to work with older students; Mild to moderate severity - typical behaviors include non-compliance, classroom disruption, elopement (less common), students are in the general education setting, duties will include: Problem solve with teams to create plans to support student behavior (formal and informal), support team implementation of the plan, support FBA/BIP development, work with staff to build capacity in managing behavior.
Job Requirements for Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA):
- Desire to bring life-giving excellence to school-aged children
- 1 year of verifiable, supervised professional experience as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
- Valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) license or credential in the state of practice, or ability to obtain one
- State School Services Credential/License where required
