What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Occupational Therapist position at Therapy Works?
Therapy Works is hiring a full time pediatric occupational therapist, OTR/L or COTA/L. Therapy Works is a private practice in St. Cloud. Therapy Works provides occupational therapy services with specialties in sensory integration and myofascial release. Collaborative services on-site include speech language pathology and behavioral health services. A multi-disciplinary team approach to treatment is utilized. Sensory integration and pediatric experience preferred, however, will train.
Job duties include the following:
- Communicate effectively with caregivers involved in the care and treatment of the child
- Perform evaluations with documentation reflecting current knowledge and evidence based practices, and communicating results effectively in both written and verbal formats
- Complete therapy sessions tailored to the needs of each patient
- Teach home program to patients and caregivers
- Document patient treatment and progress
- Clean and organize equipment after treatment sessions
Therapy Works provides indoor treatment space as well as an expansive outdoor treatment area with a variety of therapeutic activities. There is an optional weekly team consultation to support therapists in proving the best care possible for our patients. Therapy Works provides flexibility to meet your and/or your families needs via therapists ability to make their own schedule.
Candidate must have a degree in occupational therapy as well as MN licensure and NBCOT certification.
